Ghost of Yotei File Size on PS5 Revealed

With just one month to go before the release of one of the most anticipated PS5 exclusives, Ghost of Yotei is set to launch on Sony’s console on October 2. Ahead of its debut, new details have surfaced about the game’s file size and preload date.

According to PlaystationSize, Ghost of Yotei will take up just over 85 GB — this applies to the release version 01.002.000. PlayStation 5 owners will be able to preload the game starting September 25, one week before the official launch. The release will go live at midnight UTC.

Developed by Sucker Punch, Ghost of Yotei is a direct sequel to Ghost of Tsushima. Instead of samurai stances, haiku, and meditations, players will step into the role of mercenary Atsu, who seeks revenge against bandits for the murder of her family. This shift in story is also reflected in her arsenal — players will be able to fight using a kusarigama, spear, dual blades, odachi sword, firearms, and more.
