Release Date Revealed for Full Version of Beyond Sunset — High-Rated RPG Shooter Inspired by Classic Deus Ex

The developers of Beyond Sunset, a cyberpunk RPG shooter in the spirit of the original Deus Ex, have dropped a new trailer and announced the release date for the game’s full version, which will include the final episode. The release is set for September 12.

In Beyond Sunset, the main character wakes up from cryosleep with no memory and discovers she’s gained unusual abilities—lightning-fast reflexes, combat skills, and enhanced agility. She’s offered a deal: regain her memories in exchange for using her powers as a street fighter in the crime-ridden, epidemic-stricken city of Sunset. The game blends fast-paced combat, urban exploration, and narrative discovery through dialogue and documents.

Beyond Sunset features a progression system, boss battles, and full mod support. The game also stands out for its old-school graphics and a vibey soundtrack by Karl Vincent.

Beyond Sunset has been in Steam Early Access since November 2023, where it’s earned 83% positive reviews from players. A demo is also available.
