CD Projekt RED continues polishing Cyberpunk 2077 with new patches, releasing a fresh update for the action RPG. This time, the developers focused on improving Photo Mode, fixing recurring issues, and upgrading vehicle navigation.

Key features of Patch 2.31:

  • Updated AutoDrive (autopilot) — cars and motorcycles now drive more smoothly, no longer stop at traffic lights, and can overtake other vehicles.
  • Improved Free Roam mode for more reliable navigation and proper traffic behavior.
  • Fixed a bug where Johnny Silverhand always appeared in the passenger seat of Delamain taxis.
  • Resolved an issue where painting the Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru caused the wheels to flicker in different colors.
  • New Photo Mode poses introduced in Patch 2.3 now work with characters of any gender.
  • Better character placement in Photo Mode, allowing positioning on various objects, including vehicles.
  • Quest fixes — for example, bugs in River’s questline have been resolved, and the Yaiba ARV-Q340 Semimaru can now be purchased even if its related story mission was failed.
  • Localization fixes across multiple languages.
  • PC & Mac ray tracing bug fixed, where some objects displayed incorrect reflections.
  • Delamain text messages now display correctly.
  • NVIDIA Reflex now functions properly when DLSS is enabled.
  • Mac-specific fixes, including a “white screen” issue when entering braindance with DLSS enabled, audio settings adjustments, launch freezes via the App Store, plus various optimizations and stability improvements.

The update is now live across all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Mac, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Notably, in July the game received the major Patch 2.3, which introduced new content, an expanded vehicle autopilot system, and functional Delamain taxis. Just recently, Keanu Reeves, who plays Johnny Silverhand, said he would be happy to reprise the role in the sequel.
