Dying Light: The Beast Compared to Dying Light 2 in Graphics, Physics, and Gameplay

YouTuber Realistic GameZ has released a video comparing the newly launched Dying Light: The Beast with 2022’s Dying Light 2 Stay Human. The fresh release from Techland proved to be a major step up over the sequel.
The video highlights details such as physics, gameplay, graphics, atmosphere, and more. Dying Light: The Beast outshines its predecessor in many ways — nights are far darker, the environment is now destructible, cars have gone from static props to usable vehicles, and both textures and effects have been significantly improved. On the other hand, the glider mechanic from Dying Light 2 Stay Human did not make its way into The Beast.
Dying Light: The Beast was released on September 18 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5, earning strong player reviews. The story follows Kyle Crane, who becomes half-beast after being infected with the zombie virus and now seeks revenge against those who experimented on him for years.
Techland has already thanked fans for the excellent feedback on Steam by announcing a free in-game reward. The game has also been tested across various graphics cards. System requirements can be found here.
