Trypophobia, Blood, and Monsters: Silent Hill f Gets a Terrifying Launch Trailer

Konami has released the launch trailer for Silent Hill f, teasing fans of the series with the horrors to come. The footage is packed with unsettling imagery — all signs point to a deeply psychological horror experience.
This time, the franchise’s story unfolds in 1960s Japan, in a small town called Ebisugaoka. As a strange mist descends, protagonist Hinako Shimizu and her friends find themselves in an alternate version of their familiar streets. She must now face monsters that embody her fears, emotions, and traumas in order to escape the madness.
Today also marked the end of the review embargo for Silent Hill f. Judging by scores and impressions from major outlets, the new entry in the iconic franchise has delivered. Critics praise the game’s deep and well-crafted narrative, its exploration of complex themes, its striking visual style, and its detailed worldbuilding.
Silent Hill f launches on September 25 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Owners of the premium edition will get early access starting tomorrow across all platforms.
