Activision and Treyarch have unveiled the gameplay trailer for the online mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. Multiplayer will be available at launch, with the shooter set to release on November 14 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

At launch, players will have access to 18 maps (including two large-scale 20v20 battle maps), 30 weapons, an enhanced omnimovement mechanic compared to previous titles, a build-sharing system, more than 20 brutal killstreaks, and other core features.

One of the key additions is the new Overload mode, which pits two teams of six against each other in a fight to capture a device. The official developer blog also confirmed the return of classic modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Kill Order.

Players who pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will gain early access to the multiplayer beta running from October 2–5, while the open beta will be available to everyone from October 5–8.

The story of the new game takes place in 2035, with David Mason from Black Ops 2 returning as the main protagonist. He must lead a special forces unit to stop a villain who intends to wield fear as his ultimate weapon. Developers have also added the option to play the campaign in three-player co-op.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is available for pre-purchase in two editions: the Standard Edition for $70 and the Vault Edition for $100, with an upgrade to the enhanced version priced at $30.
