Battlestate Games has revealed new details about the story campaign of Escape from Tarkov. The final version of the game will offer players four different endings, but only a small percentage of the audience will be able to see the "best" one.

Escape from Tarkov 1.0 was presented at the Tokyo Game Show 2025, currently underway in Japan. During the showcase, studio head Nikita Buyanov explained that just 20% of players—one in five—will reach the "best" ending. He also revealed that the game will feature both a seasonal character, subject to wipes, and a permanent character that can level up endlessly.

Battlestate Games plans to continue supporting Escape from Tarkov after the release of version 1.0, which will also launch on Steam for the first time, allowing players to run the game without the Battlestate launcher. All Tarkov content, including new maps, events, and seasonal updates, will continue to be released as before.

Escape from Tarkov 1.0 is set to launch on November 15 for PC after eight years in early access. A Steam page for the shooter is already live, along with updated system requirements.
