First DLC Character for Borderlands 4 Announced — First Look at C4SH

Gearbox Software has announced the first expansion for Borderlands 4, which will introduce a brand-new playable character. Vault Hunter C4SH will arrive in the looter-shooter in Q1 2026.
A roll of the dice, a flip of a card, a spin of the bullets in a chamber—these are among the random chances that fascinate C4SH, the first of two new Vault Hunters coming to Borderlands 4.
The hero will appear in the story expansion Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, set to release between January and March 2026. The DLC will feature several main and side missions, all taking place in a new location on Kairos. Alongside the character, players will also receive new gear and a variety of cosmetic items.
There will be three ways to obtain C4SH — by upgrading Borderlands 4 to the Super Deluxe Edition, purchasing the Vault Hunter Pack, or buying the Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned expansion directly.
Borderlands 4 is currently available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release scheduled for October 3.
