A Step Forward: Ghost of Yotei Graphics Compared to Ghost of Tsushima

YouTuber ElAnalistaDeBits has already gotten a copy of Ghost of Yotei and decided to make a detailed comparison with Ghost of Tsushima. It looks like Sucker Punch Productions has made significant strides in terms of visual quality.
The video carefully examines effects, models, and environments in both games side by side. Graphically, the sequel is a clear leap forward — texture detail is vastly improved, snow falls naturally from tree branches, cloud formations flow around mountain ranges following “air currents,” weather effects look more realistic and immersive, and blood disperses convincingly in water. Even more impressive details can be seen in the footage and screenshots.
Ghost of Yotei serves as a continuation of Ghost of Tsushima, set 300 years later in a new region. This time the story follows Atsu, a mercenary who lost her family and home and now seeks revenge on the gang that took everything from her. The game has already received strong reviews from critics.
Ghost of Yotei will launch on October 2 exclusively on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro. Comparisons between the two versions have already appeared online.
