Soulmask Exits Early Access With Shifting Sands DLC Launching at the End of 2025

CampFire Studios has announced that the full 1.0 release of Soulmask will launch simultaneously with the major themed DLC Shifting Sands, centered on Ancient Egypt, in Q4 2025.
Shifting Sands will take players to a desert world inspired by Ancient Egyptian mythology. The main setting is the Nile River basin, beyond which lies a desert sea symbolizing death. Under the influence of the mysterious entity known as the “Solar Deity,” familiar landscapes will transform into something entirely new: floating barges in the sky, suspended temples, and inverted pyramids.
One of the DLC’s central features is the mask—a symbol of divine authority granting the player new powers. For example, the Horus mask allows flight, while the Anubis mask lets players instantly destroy or resurrect enemies. Each artifact embodies the power of ancient gods and offers unique gameplay mechanics.
Another key addition is the Solar Barge, a flying transport that can serve as a mobile palace. As technology advances, players can build their own home or even an entire palace in the sky on the barge, which may later transform into a combat platform for large-scale battles.
Soulmask: Shifting Sands promises a deep dive into the mystical world of Ancient Egypt, where players will uncover the secrets of a vanished civilization and discover who—or what—stands behind the Solar Deity.
The DLC and full game will release on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5, with developers promising to share more details closer to launch.
