Silent Hill f Sales Hit One Million Copies—Faster Than Silent Hill 2
Diana Golenko
According to a recent report from Konami, Silent Hill f has sold one million copies. The game achieved this milestone just one day after its release on September 25.
The statistics for September 26 include both physical and digital copies. Notably, the new game surpassed the Silent Hill 2 remake by Bloober Team, which reached one million copies in three days. Konami celebrated the achievement with a social media post, thanking players for their support.
Silent Hill f marks a full new entry in Konami’s popular franchise, taking the series to Japan for the first time. Players can expect not only the familiar fog and horror but also the protagonist’s psychological struggle with her fears, combined with elements of Japanese mythology and tradition.
Our review of Silent Hill f can be read here—the game is one of the best in the series, though quite polarizing. Meanwhile, players have already started enhancing the PC version with mods, giving the main character Hinako Shimizu outfits inspired by Silent Hill 3 and Resident Evil.
