PC Specs Used for Resident Evil Requiem Demo at Tokyo Game Show 2025 Revealed

At Tokyo Game Show 2025, attendees had the chance to try out a demo of Resident Evil Requiem. Recently, Famitsu revealed the specs of the PCs running the demo version at the event.

Here are the PC configurations used for the Resident Evil Requiem demo:

  • OS: Windows 11 Pro;
  • CPUs: Intel Core i7-14700F, Intel Core i5-14400F, AMD Ryzen 5 4500, Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, and Intel Core i7-13620H;
  • GPUs: GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (8 GB), GeForce RTX 4060 (8 GB), and GeForce RTX 3050 (8 GB);
  • RAM: 32 GB and 16 GB.

For comparison, the minimum system requirements for Resident Evil Village were an Intel Core i5-7500 CPU, an NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB VRAM, and 8 GB of RAM.

Some new details about Resident Evil Requiem have also surfaced online:

  • Zombies will differ from previous versions seen in the series;
  • All footage shown so far is from the early stages of the game—the hospital is the first level with Grace;
  • Pre-orders are set to open in October or November 2025;
  • The developers are focusing not only on horror elements, but also on action.

Resident Evil Requiem is being developed for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2, using the RE Engine. The release is scheduled for February 27, 2026. In addition, a new Resident Evil movie is also in the works. According to director Zach Cregger, its tone will be reminiscent of the fourth game in the franchise.
