Hellreaper Announced — Become the Hell Reaper and Crush Terrifying Bosses in This New Action Game

Awesome Games Studio has announced a new roguelike action game titled Hellreaper. The studio has already released the first gameplay trailer and screenshots. The project is in development for PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Hellreaper is described as an action game focused on challenging yet fair gameplay. The story follows Heaven unleashing the Hell Reaper — a destructive force created from the sacrifice of a High Angel, summoned to halt the growing influence of the underworld.
Players will uncover the mysteries of corruption alongside the enigmatic entity known as the Three Sisters, facing dark trials and unexpected moments — including the surprise appearance of cats. The game is being developed by the indie team behind Fury Unleashed and Yet Another Zombie Survivors, with a strong emphasis on community feedback and quality.
“When the hordes of Hell grow stronger and the Eternal Balance is at risk, Heaven must strike back. As their last line of defense, they unleash the Hellreaper. By sacrificing one of the High Angels, they create a devastating, uncontrollable force that might restore order,” reads the official description.
Key features include terrifying bosses, weapon upgrades, the use of ancient magic, and responsive controls.
