Polish developer Bloober Team, known for the Silent Hill 2 remake, may be preparing new projects for Konami’s iconic horror series. According to rumors reported by the French site Biohazardultimate, the studio plans to release a Silent Hill remake in 2027, followed by a Silent Hill 3 remake in 2028.

The latter project has already been mentioned by some insiders. Interestingly, during an official investor call, the team confirmed only one joint project with Konami — the remake of the original 1999 game. However, rumors suggest that the studio is working on multiple titles within the Silent Hill universe, including an entirely new original project.

In addition, the source claims that Bloober Team is developing a new survival horror game inspired by Resident Evil. The release is allegedly planned for 2026, but no further details have been revealed. The project is said to potentially serve as a “spiritual successor,” similar to their previous game, Cronos: The New Dawn, which was inspired by Dead Space.

Finally, Bloober Team reportedly has two more unknown IPs and a Cronos spin-off in development, with no release dates announced. During the investor call, the studio also mentioned that one of their two internal teams is currently working on five games simultaneously.

It’s important to note that these are purely rumors — neither Bloober Team nor Konami have officially confirmed them. Nevertheless, given the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, the studio seems like a natural choice for handling future remakes.

Regarding the remake of the first Silent Hill, full production has recently begun. There are also new rumors about a mysterious Silent Hill: Townfall, which could potentially launch in 2026.
