New Little Nightmares 3 Trailer Captures Animated, Atmospheric Style

Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a brand-new trailer for Little Nightmares 3. Titled "Dreams on Paper," the trailer features haunting animations where the characters use nothing but a pencil and paper to seemingly "lock away their fears" on each sheet.

The focus is on emotion and tension: children sketch terrifying scenes that reflect the game's dark world, only for those nightmares to literally crawl out of the drawings and into reality.

The trailer conveys a sense of overcoming fears together—heroes unite to share the heavy burden and search for a way out of the frightening world. Friendship and teamwork are front and center, visually highlighting anxiety and fragile hope.

Little Nightmares 3 is an adventure where two children, Low and Alone, try to escape from a sinister world known as Nowhere. Players will explore nightmare-fueled locations—from sandy ruins to twisted factories and grotesque amusement parks. The two heroes must work together: Low wields a bow to trigger mechanisms and attack enemies from afar, while Alone uses a wrench to break obstacles and fend off threats.

Cooperation is key—whether your partner is a friend or AI, you’ll need to solve puzzles, find exits, and survive among monsters. The game keeps its signature oppressive and surreal atmosphere, where beauty hides unsettling secrets and echoes of the characters’ pasts.

Little Nightmares 3 launches on October 10. A demo was released in September.
