Fan-Made Remaster of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl Shows Off New Screenshots
Modder Vladislav Romanov has shared a new batch of screenshots from Shadow of Chernobyl Update 2.0 — an ambitious fan project that aims to refresh the visuals and gameplay of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Alongside the screenshots, the creator released a small patch for the current version of the mod, featuring improved graphics, a reworked stash system, the return of a classic time-slowing artifact, and the addition of a new one.
A detailed overview of Shadow of Chernobyl Update 2.0 was shown in a summer video, and Romanov is now focusing on updating the game’s visuals and weapon models. A new progress video is expected to be released soon.
Meanwhile, GSC Game World continues to polish S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The studio recently rolled out patch 1.6, adding night vision gear and other improvements.
