Capcom has announced that pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem will begin on October 29. On the same day, the company will release a special video dedicated to the entire Resident Evil series — though no new gameplay from Requiem will be shown.

The story of Resident Evil Requiem centers on FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, the daughter of Alyssa Ashcroft from Resident Evil Outbreak. While investigating a series of mysterious disappearances, Grace unexpectedly uncovers secrets tied to the destruction of Raccoon City.
Resident Evil Requiem is set to release on February 27, 2026, for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Recently, it was revealed that the game has already been wishlisted by over two million players worldwide. Capcom has also shared the PC specifications used to run the demo shown at Tokyo Game Show 2025.
Earlier, fans discovered an intriguing snippet from the Gamescom Awards 2025 ceremony, where the host may have accidentally teased the return of Leon Kennedy. Capcom has also released new gameplay and T-virus–infected enemy details, further fueling excitement for the upcoming title.
