Hideo Kojima made a memorable appearance at Brasil Game Show 2025, where he met fans and discussed Death Stranding 2. One encounter in particular stood out — a fan who looked almost exactly like him.
During a signing session, Kojima noticed a man wearing glasses, sporting the same black hair and dark blazer as the famed game designer. The resemblance was so uncanny that Kojima couldn’t resist recreating the iconic Spider-Man pointing meme.
Photos and clips of the two “Kojimas” quickly went viral, racking up tens of thousands of likes across social media. Fans filled the comments with jokes comparing the duo to the Big Boss clones from the Metal Gear series.
Kojima is currently working on OD, a cinematic horror project and spiritual successor to P.T. You can check out the latest trailer here.
