As part of IGN Fall Fan Fest 2025, a new gameplay trailer for the action title Terminator 2D: No Fate from Bitmap Bureau has been released. The game will be published by Reef Entertainment.

The trailer spotlights the "No Fate Decision" system. It showcases gameplay where you can play as Sarah Connor, the T-800, and John Connor across different timelines, facing off against the T-1000 threat and fighting for humanity’s survival.

A major focus is on the interactive branching paths: on your first playthrough, the story closely follows the film and features iconic scenes recreated through pixel-art cutscenes. On subsequent runs, players can make choices that dramatically alter the narrative, unlock hidden levels, affect gear, and even change the fate of key characters. For example, the Cyberdyne HQ level can be completed canonically—without killing the guards—or you can take a more aggressive approach, with Sarah wielding assault rifles and the T-800 mowing down enemies with a minigun.

The trailer emphasizes replayability and new scenarios for fans of the franchise: players can shape the fate of the heroes and the direction of the story, with decisions that can either save humanity or lead to new dangers.

Terminator 2D: No Fate is set to release on November 26, 2025 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Interestingly, the project has already been delayed twice—it was originally planned for release on September 5.

By the way, a collector’s edition of Terminator 2D: No Fate with bonus content for fans has also been announced.
