Escape from Duckov launches on Steam — already boasts 92% positive reviews
A new shooter called Escape from Duckov has just been released on Steam, and it’s already making waves. Inspired by Escape from Tarkov, the game currently enjoys a stellar 92% positive rating from players.
Here’s what gamers are saying:
Escape from Duckov is described as a PvE shooter with survival and exploration elements, throwing players into a dangerous world full of hidden threats. Starting out as an Ordinary Duck with basic gear, you’ll need to scavenge resources, upgrade your equipment, and fortify your shelter to survive.
The game features expansive maps with ever-changing conditions, random loot, and dynamic weather, making every raid unpredictable. A robust crafting system lets you turn scavenged junk into useful items, while advanced weapon customization allows you to tailor your combat style.
A branching skill tree and the hunt for blueprints open up new ways to develop your character. Beyond survival, you’ll take on quests, interact with NPCs, and gradually uncover the secrets of the Duckov world. Steam Workshop support gives creative players the tools to make mods, new weapons, maps, and storylines, ensuring the game is always evolving and packed with fresh discoveries. Until October 30, the game is available on Steam with a 12% launch discount.
Previously, we reported on the Escape from Tarkov story campaign — the game will have four endings, but only a small percentage of players will see the “best” one.
