Dying Light: The Beast to Add New Game+ and Nightmare Difficulty — Techland Reveals Upcoming Roadmap

Techland has unveiled the official 11-week roadmap for Dying Light: The Beast, outlining a wave of new content and events coming before the end of the holiday season — including New Game+, a PUBG Mobile collaboration, and much more.
Over the next few months, players can expect a series of updates aimed at expanding endgame content and increasing replayability. The highlights include the long-awaited New Game+ mode, Legend Levels, and the ultimate Castor Woods challenge on Nightmare difficulty, with more details to follow soon.
Additionally, Techland is preparing new weapon execution animations, visual and quality-of-life improvements, Ray Tracing support on PC, a special event with PUBG Mobile, and a few “unexpected surprises.” The first step in this roadmap is the Call of the Beast event — an 11-week-long challenge featuring weekly objectives, 22 exclusive rewards, and one legendary prize for the most dedicated players.
The Call of the Beast event is already live and will run until January 7, 2026. New missions and rewards will appear every Thursday, and once a week ends, its exclusive rewards will be gone forever.
Earlier, the game’s director explained why Techland decided to stick with its proprietary engine instead of switching to Unreal Engine 5. Recently, Dying Light: The Beast also received a new hotfix addressing several issues. You can read our full review here.
