Konami and Bloober Team have announced that total shipments and digital sales of the Silent Hill 2 remake have surpassed 2.5 million copies worldwide. In addition, total sales across the entire Silent Hill franchise have now exceeded 10 million units.
The news comes from the latest episode of Konami News dedicated to Silent Hill f, where updated sales figures were briefly mentioned. Sales data for Silent Hill f itself have not yet been updated, though it was previously reported that the game sold over one million copies within its first 24 hours.
The Silent Hill 2 remake launched on October 8, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam). By October 11, it had already surpassed one million copies sold, and by January 2025, that number had reached two million. Now, a year after release, the game has officially hit 2.5 million sales — making it one of the best-performing titles in the franchise’s history.
Notably, the Silent Hill 2 remake was recently added to the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog. Meanwhile, new rumors have surfaced suggesting a possible release date for the mysterious Silent Hill: Townfall project.
