A New Video Showcases Fox Hunt Mode in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
Konami has released a short video highlighting the Fox Hunt mode in the stealth-action game Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which launched this August on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The mode itself is set to arrive in the game on October 30.
The video shows Snake making use of stealth mechanics to hunt down enemies, avoiding detection and blending into the forest environment. There are scenes of the protagonist crawling, tracking opponents, and utilizing classic series features like camouflage and clever maneuvers.
The footage quickly introduces viewers to the key aspects of the new mode: stay hidden, be cautious, and use your surroundings to hunt successfully.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has received very positive feedback from players. At the time of writing, its Steam rating stands at 84%. In our review, we praised the game’s rich 1960s and Cold War atmosphere, faithfully preserved story, improved controls, and impressive visuals. On the downside, we noted that the gameplay feels a bit dated and the small areas with loading screens between them can be a drawback.
By the way, the graphics of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater were previously compared across PC, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X, and the game has already been tested on 33 different graphics cards, including the RTX 3060, RTX 4060, and RTX 5090.
