S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-Inspired ASKET Gets New Screenshots
Solo developer Arhaika has unveiled a fresh batch of screenshots for their open-world shooter, ASKET. Heavily inspired by the beloved S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, the project is being developed using Unreal Engine 5.
Arhaika also shared new details about the game's development. Over the past few months, he's finalized the inventory system and added costume customization as well as melee combat mechanics. Currently, the developer is focusing on the open world, biomes, and refining the graphics. He plans to release a video in the future demonstrating his progress and potentially offering a glimpse into the factions that will populate the game world.
ASKET's story unfolds in the vicinity of an abandoned city, built around a former industrial hub. Players will explore an open world teeming with anomalies, artifacts, and various factions, undertaking quests and engaging in intense firefights. According to the developer, the game will feature 30 weapon models, each customizable with various attachments like stocks, bayonets, under-barrel grenade launchers, suppressors, flash hiders, and scopes.
The game doesn't have a release date yet, but it does have a Steam page. You can add the project to your wishlist to stay updated.
