A player using the Portal mode in Battlefield 6 recreated the famous Shipment map from the Call of Duty series. However, Electronic Arts quickly took the project down — the map violated community guidelines.

According to EA representatives, the user-made “Shipment 2019 Edition” was removed due to “inappropriate references to third-party products.” This falls under one of the rules prohibiting content directly connected to other game brands.

The original Shipment first appeared in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and has since become one of the franchise’s most recognizable maps thanks to its tiny size and chaotic battles.

Nevertheless, the Battlefield community continues to experiment within Portal. Players are already building both close-quarters arenas and large-scale maps featuring waves of enemies. Among popular creations are Besieged (a defense mode) and Breakthrough Solo Bots, which became known as an effective XP farming method.

The launch of Battlefield 6 was a success: within the first three days, the game sold over six million copies, while its peak concurrent player count on Steam surpassed 700,000. With these results, Portal mode has every chance to become a vital part of the experience — even without Call of Duty map remakes.

Earlier we reported that players found a way to take down helicopter pilots using paint and tanks. In that case, unlucky pilots receive no warning of danger and have no chance to escape. The community is now waiting for a patch.
