Azra Games has announced UnGodly, a new free-to-play dark fantasy RPG set to launch on iOS and Android in Q1 2026, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) versions to follow later.

UnGodly is described as a dark action RPG with character collection elements, designed for cross-platform play. Players can expect a brutal world ravaged by a mysterious force, dynamic real-time combat, strategic gameplay, and an emotionally charged story.

One of the game’s key features is the Affinity System, which allows players to build emotional bonds between heroes, unlocking new storylines and dialogues based on vulnerability and character experiences.

The project is helmed by Mark Otero, best known for his work on Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes. UnGodly is the debut title from Azra Games, which Otero calls “the fourth generation of RPGs,” blending mobile and console experiences.

UnGodly isn’t just a game; it’s a story about survival, struggle, and the indomitable human spirit, and it’s designed to speak to the primal instincts we all share. We’ve created a world that is raw and honest, and will feel authentic to players who will recognize themselves in the characters. UnGodly is ambitious. We aim to shock and awe gamers with an unapologetically classic dark fantasy experience inspired by the Roleplaying games that many of us grew up with.

We are pioneering the 4th generation of mobile RPGs, bridging the gap between mobile and console / PC experiences. UnGodly will deliver open worlds, real-time party-based battles, and extended [player-versus-environment] campaigns, redefining mobile gaming with console-quality experiences. With a growing expert team and solid funding, we’re excited to bring western gamers unparalleled gameplay on both mobile and PC.

Recently, we also reported on the announcement of Darkwood 2, a new horror game from the creators of the Pathologic series.
