Nintendo Unveils New Trailer for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond — Launch Set for December

Nintendo has released a brand-new trailer for the highly anticipated action-adventure Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, which is in development for both the original Switch and the Switch 2.

The trailer introduces a new chapter in the saga of Samus Aran, who finds herself on the mysterious planet Viewros, teeming with dangerous creatures and the remnants of an ancient civilization. The footage showcases exploration of alien environments, intense battles with monstrous foes, and an immersive survival atmosphere in a hostile world.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is set to launch on December 4, 2025, for both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Players will be able to upgrade to the Switch 2 edition via a separate upgrade pack.
