Strategic RPG The End of History Launches in Early Access on December 10 — Featuring Reworked Combat and NPC Romance

Publisher WorldMap and developer Tatamibeya announced that the strategic sandbox RPG The End of History will enter early access on PC (Steam) on December 10, priced at $28.
Set in a grim medieval world where the fate of history is shaped by player choices, the game centers around a mysterious “Obelisk,” whose scattered fragments contain lost knowledge. Every decision — even the smallest — leaves a mark on the world and influences the lives of NPCs.
The combat system in The End of History is built around tactical formations and coordinated maneuvers, emphasizing flanking and positional advantage. Players can forge their own path — from wandering beggar to king — as they attempt to halt the collapse of a realm full of intrigue, alliances, and betrayal.
Ahead of launch, the developers have completely overhauled the combat system, interface, and enemy AI, while also adding romantic interactions with NPCs and full sandbox access from the start. According to the team, these improvements were inspired by player feedback from the demo.
Early access is expected to last six months to a year. Future updates will add controller support and an updated UI. While Russian localization hasn’t been confirmed yet, a free demo is already available on the game’s Steam page.
Previously, we reported that Steam launched 7 Days Blood Moons — a fast-paced zombie action game where players can side against humanity.
