This game came out of nowhere for me. I played 4 hours on the demo and now a few in EA and I'm loving it. Such a unique spin on the open-world, survival genre and it runs and looks amazing even on low or mid-level graphic settings. I'm going to sink some serious hours on this one!

Early Access Trailer:

Set on a flooded Earth, The Last Caretaker puts players in the role of an awakened machine — humanity’s final guardian — tasked with restoring life and sending people to the stars.

The game’s world is a vast ocean dotted with abandoned megastructures, where players must gather resources, craft equipment, and maintain the “Lazarus” complex. Gameplay blends a deep crafting system, management of biological pods with human seeds, and defense against external threats — from rogue machines to deadly storms.

Special attention is given to a sense of discovery and moral choice: every decision impacts the story and the future of humanity. Players will restore lost technologies, protect the last fragile remnants of life, and prepare to launch rockets that will carry the last humans beyond a dying world.

Recently, we also reported on the release of the survival horror game Dead Static Drive, which has been described as “Grand Theft Cthulhu.”
