Postponing the release of GTA 6 from spring to autumn next year will be a positive moment for another expected release, 007 First Light. This was stated in an interview by the CEO of IO Interactive Hakan Abrak.

IO Interactive, in addition to the upcoming James Bond game, previously released Hitman. Hakan Abrak admitted that the money received from the sales of this game is enough to develop 007 First Light, and the project should be worthy.

However, the release of 007 First Light is scheduled for March 27, 2026. This is just two months before the previous GTA 6 release date, which could be a serious competitor.

«It would be a lie not to say that obviously spring looks really good», — Hakan Abrak commented on the news about the postponement of GTA.

At the same time, he stressed that the release of GTA 6 would still be a long-awaited event for the gaming industry.

«I do believe a lot of gamers who maybe haven't played for a while will get into things again, and generally for the industry as a whole, I think that will be amazing», — said Abrak.

The day before, during the Xbox Partner Preview, the developers showed a new trailer for 007 First Light, which for the first time demonstrated the Aston Martin Valhalla hypercar. This is a rare hybrid model, produced in an edition of 999 copies.
