Battlefield 6 Players Finally Start Receiving Promised Compensation — One Month Later

Some Battlefield 6 players are now reporting that they have begun receiving the compensation promised by Electronic Arts for launch issues with the EA App — a full month after EA apologized to owners of the game.
At launch, some EA App users faced a frustrating situation: the launcher claimed they didn’t own the game they had just purchased. This spoiled the release experience for many fans, and series head Vince Zampella even suggested that affected players temporarily use Steam instead. The problem was resolved relatively quickly, and EA promised compensation, including XP boosters and a free seasonal Battle Pass.
Now, players report that the long-awaited rewards have started appearing in their in-game inboxes. Those who haven’t received anything yet are advised to check their inbox the next time they launch Battlefield 6 — the surprise might already be waiting. However, according to user reports, the compensation has not reached everyone yet.
There’s another detail: so far, only the XP boosters have been delivered. The promised seasonal Battle Passes are still missing, which has already sparked a new wave of frustration among players. Fans are hoping that once the XP boosters are fully distributed, EA will speed up the delivery of the remaining compensation.
Meanwhile, yesterday, hackers managed to crack Battlefield 6’s single-player campaign — the PC version of the shooter has already appeared on torrent sites.
