The First Game from December’s PS Plus Extra and Deluxe Lineup Has Been Revealed — a Brand-New 2025 Title

It’s been confirmed that Skate Story, launching next month, will be available on day one in the PS Plus Extra and Deluxe catalog. Subscribers won’t have to purchase the game — they’ll be able to jump in as part of their membership.

Skate Story is described as an atmospheric skateboarding adventure that sends players into a surreal underworld. You take on the role of a fragile being made of glass and pain, embarking on a long journey across barren landscapes to fulfill a strange pact with the Devil.

Players will be able to master more than seventy tricks, level up their skills, and unlock new gear as they skate through nine dark and dreamlike zones filled with demons, deadly drops, and abstract scenery.

Along the way, you can help lost creatures, take on hostile enemies using speed and precise trick execution, and discover your own routes and challenges. All of this is backed by a hypnotic soundtrack from Blood Cultures and John Fio, perfectly matching the rhythm of your descent through demonic streets.

Skate Story launches December 8 on PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2. November’s PS Plus Extra and Deluxe additions included GTA 5, Pacific Drive, The Talos Principle 2, and more.
