CD Projekt RED co-head Michal Nowakowski took to social media to address whether The Witcher 4 will be showcased at The Game Awards 2025, set for December 11.
According to Nowakowski, even though the game is nominated for “Most Anticipated Game,” the developers have no plans to reveal anything new during the event.
I’m very happy to see The Witcher 4 nominated in the Most Anticipated Game category at The Game Awards. Thanks to everyone who has already voted — your support means a lot of to us. We won’t be bringing any new content to TGA this year, but we’re, as always, excited to watch the show and celebrate this amazing industry’s great night alongside all of you.
The latest reports indicate that 447 CD Projekt RED developers are now working on The Witcher 4. The studio is also developing Cyberpunk 2 and several other projects.
In The Witcher 4, Ciri will take center stage as the main protagonist. Judging by early details, she has become a much more seasoned monster hunter since the previous installment. You can find more information about the game here.
