The Epic Games Store has kicked off its weekly free game giveaway. Until December 4, users can claim Universe For Sale, a point-and-click adventure released in 2023 that’s earned very positive reviews from gamers (94% rating on Steam).
Set on a space station shrouded in Jupiter’s clouds, the game invites players to explore a colony inhabited by both humans and intelligent orangutans. Amid picturesque shantytowns, teahouses, workshops, and bustling markets, stories of survival under acid rain unfold.
At the heart of the narrative is Lila, a girl with the power to create entire universes with her own hands. Her encounter with a mysterious stranger becomes the key to uncovering the station’s hidden secrets. The game stands out for its beautifully hand-drawn art, attention to environmental detail, and interactions with quirky characters—each offering unique events and stories that shape the game’s strange and mysterious world.
Here’s what’s coming for free next week (December 4–11) in the Epic Games Store:
- The Darkside Detective — A comedic detective adventure set in Twin Lakes, a town teeming with occult mysteries, cultists, and demons. Players take on the role of Detective Francis McQueen and his partner, Officer Patrick Dooley, as they investigate bizarre and supernatural cases—including a special Christmas-themed case;
- Jackbox Party Pack 4 — A party game collection featuring “five and a half” mini-games: Fibbage 3, Survive the Internet, Monster Seeking Monster, Bracketeering, and Civic Doodle. Play locally or online using smartphones, tablets, or computers—no extra controllers required.
By the way, four games from different genres recently became permanently free on Steam.
