Fallout: New Vegas Has No Canon Endings, According to the Fallout Series

Legion, Mr. House, or Yes Man? None of that matters anymore, as Amazon’s Fallout Season 2 does not recognize any of the endings of Fallout: New Vegas as canon, according to the latest interviews with the cast.
Aaron Moten, who plays Maximus, told The Spill that no faction in New Vegas truly won. This approach allows the showrunners to avoid invalidating the choices players made in the original game.
What's really interesting is that our storyline, where we are in time, is a number of years after the events of New Vegas. And an interesting thing, a conversation Geneva [Robertson-Dworet, TV show co-creator] and I were having, was actually about how history is written in the wasteland by whoever writes it, and different perspectives will have a different perspective on who won and who lost.
He also added that early in the season there is a scene with Lucy and The Ghoul that illustrates this concept: they encounter a faction that believes it is victorious, but The Ghoul disagrees.
Many fans speculate that Mr. House’s ending might become canon, as the character features prominently in promotional material. However, there is no official confirmation yet, so viewers will have to wait for the premiere to see whether the show recognizes any endings or bypasses them entirely.
Fallout Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on December 17. Interestingly, the series has already been renewed for a third season, indicating that the creators are confident in its continued success.
