The store associated with CD Projekt stood up for the developers of the horror banned on Steam

GOG, an online game store affiliated with CD Projekt, has come out in support of the psychological horror game Horses, whose developers have been banned from publishing the game on Steam.
Horses is a horror story about a young man who got a job on a farm, but soon realized that all the horses are actually naked people who are being held there by force.
The project was first presented in 2023. Then it was at the initial stage of development. Almost immediately, Valve rejected the game's placement on Steam. According to the developer from the indie studio Santa Ragione, there has been no explanation for two years.
At the same time, without the opportunity to sell the game on Steam, Santa Ragione Studio, according to the developers, risks closing completely. When the story appeared in the media, Valve issued a statement. The company noted that they had discussed the possibility of reviewing the decision. But in the end, they decided to stick to their guns.
Meanwhile, the GOG platform acted in support of the Santa Ragione studio. A horror pre-order has already been opened there, which is due to be released in December 2025.
We’re happy to give Horses a home on GOG, giving players another way to experience the game – and to support the Santa Ragione studio in this difficult time, we’ve decided to launch pre-orders on Horses today. Creativity deserves to be celebrated.
