One Of Bethesda’s Studios Has Started Developing A New Game

Online reports suggest that Bethesda Dallas has begun working on a new IP. The discussion was sparked by a LinkedIn profile showcasing the projects of one of the studio’s developers.
Bethesda Dallas’ lead animator Sung Yi mentions an unannounced game in his résumé, listed among the studio’s projects since 2018. Dataminer bogorad222, who drew attention to the profile, believes this project could be Spy Team.
The name was renewed by Bethesda’s parent company ZeniMax Media on June 10, 2025, and was originally registered back in 2018 as a trademark and service mark — a format commonly used to cover video games or related services. However, the registration itself does not reveal any details about the game.
It’s worth noting that updating a trademark does not automatically mean a game announcement is imminent. Companies often secure names “just in case,” and many registered projects never make it all the way to release.
Previously, Bethesda Dallas contributed to Starfield, the mobile title The Elder Scrolls: Blades, and Fallout 76.
Recently, the head of Bethesda Game Studios also confirmed that the company is interested in releasing games without prior announcements — similar to what was done with Oblivion Remastered.
