Marvel Cosmic Invasion Launches—Play as Spider-Man, Wolverine, and More Iconic Superheroes

Marvel Cosmic Invasion, a retro-inspired beat 'em up, has officially launched on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S (Game Pass), Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game is available at a 10% discount until December 15, and a free demo is also up for grabs.

To celebrate the release, a brand-new trailer has been unveiled:

Throughout the game, players will team up with legendary Marvel superheroes like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America, She-Hulk, Phoenix, Black Panther, Storm, and Iron Man, as well as cosmic heroes such as Nova, Rocket Raccoon, and Silver Surfer, to take on the deadly Annihilation Wave.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion features a tag-team combat system, letting you select two characters per stage and instantly swap between them to pull off unique combos and unleash each hero’s abilities with tactical flexibility. The game supports both local and online co-op, and its pixel art style pays homage to Marvel’s classic era.

“A cosmic battle awaits! Choose from 15 Marvel Universe superheroes in this wild beat 'em up as you fight off the Annihilation Wave threatening the entire galaxy. From the streets of New York to the depths of the Negative Zone, the fate of the Marvel universe is in your hands!” reads the official description.

The game is developed by Tribute Games Inc. and published by Dotemu and Gamirror Games.
