FromSoftware Releases The Forsaken Hollows DLC for Elden Ring Nightreign, But Reception Is Mixed

FromSoftware has launched The Forsaken Hollows expansion for Elden Ring Nightreign, adding two Night Wanderers, two Day Three bosses, Earth Shift, and more to the game. So far, the DLC has received a mixed rating on Steam.
Players have pointed out a lack of new content as a major downside. For example, some are disappointed by the absence of new weapons.
The expansion lets players take on the roles of the Scholar and the Undertaker.
Elden Ring Nightreign is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The project is a standalone game set in the Elden Ring universe, offering co-op gameplay for up to three players. Gamers control unique heroes with different abilities, teaming up to face the threat of the Night and its ruler. The world changes with each session, creating new challenges and conditions every time you play.
Elden Ring Nightreign would have been much better off as a regular DLC for the original game. In that case, most of its flaws would be easily overlooked. As it stands, this is the most laughable attempt to sell an «experiment» as a standalone game, for which the developers didn’t even bother to redraw the menus.
In our Elden Ring Nightreign review, we listed the main pros and cons of the game.
