Trailer Released for SOL Shogunate — Become a Space Samurai in This New Action Game

Chaos Manufacturing has announced SOL Shogunate, an action game set in a cosmic feudal Japan where players take on the role of Yuzuki, the last heir of a fallen samurai clan who has become a ronin.

The game takes place on the Moon, reimagined as the power center of the shogunate, featuring sprawling megacities, mining towns, and monumental symbols of authority.

Players will explore unique star-feudal biomes, battling enemies in fast-paced cosmic combat using a variety of weapons adapted for different planetary gravities and environments.

Character skills can be developed, weapons enhanced with elemental effects, and unique abilities customized through genetic modifications. Traversal is made easier with a jetpack and nanofiber grappling hooks, while epic boss fights are delivered with cinematic flair and a dynamic soundtrack, including tracks from Japanese rock band AliA.

According to the official description, the game blends exploration, acrobatics, and strategic combat, weaving a story of power and labor in a shogunate world.

The game already has a Steam page, and players can pre-register for the upcoming playtest.
