Dragons and Mechs: Ambitious Crimson Desert Gets New Trailer

Pearl Abyss has released another promising trailer for Crimson Desert, their upcoming open-world RPG featuring magic, sprawling locations, and the story of a lone mercenary. The trailer coincides with the ongoing pre-order campaign.
The developers excited fans again with footage of a rideable dragon, mech suits armed with cannons, combat mounts, battle sequences, and other impressive scenes. The game is set in the world of MMORPG Black Desert, where players take control of mercenary Cliff, tasked with rebuilding his squad and avenging fallen comrades. According to the developers, much of their inspiration came from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is evident in the trailer footage.
Crimson Desert is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
