Sony Pictures Virtual Reality and studio Arvore have announced The Boys: Trigger Warning, a VR title based on the hit superhero series The Boys. The reveal came with the release of the game’s first trailer.

Players will take on the role of an original character who accidentally uncovers a terrifying secret about Vought Corporation, turning a family vacation into a bloody disaster. The protagonist soon gains superpowers and teams up with The Boys to infiltrate Vought and take revenge “in the most chaotic way possible.”

This new story lets you fight alongside Butcher, M.M., and Kimiko while unleashing unstable Supe abilities to survive Vought’s deadliest secrets. Developed with the creators and featuring cast from the original show, this is The Boys brought to life like never before. Welcome to The Boys like you’ve never experienced it.

The cast includes series actors Laz Alonso, Colby Minifie, P. J. Byrne, and Jensen Ackles.

The game is being developed by Arvore, best known for the Pixel Ripped series and other VR projects. The developers note that they worked closely with the show’s creators and actors to capture the signature humor and brutality of The Boys universe.

The Boys: Trigger Warning is set to launch in spring 2026 for Meta Quest 3 and PlayStation VR2. By the way, posters for the final season of The Boys recently surfaced online.
