Remedy Unveils First Trailer for New Action Game Control Resonant

During The Game Awards 2025, Remedy Entertainment debuted the trailer for their upcoming action-adventure title, Control Resonant, set for release in 2026 (PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S). The game already has a Steam page.

The story centers on Dylan Faden, who, after spending years in isolation within the Federal Bureau of Control, finds himself at the heart of a new supernatural crisis engulfing Manhattan. Gifted with strange new powers and confronted by a cosmic entity that bends the laws of reality, Dylan embarks on a perilous journey through a city transformed by the Hiss, the Mold, and other paranormal threats.

The narrative focuses on Dylan’s search for Jesse Faden, uncovering the secrets of the Bureau, and trying to understand the forces unleashed beyond the Oldest House, as humanity teeters on the brink of annihilation.

Players will explore altered districts of Manhattan, interact with both new and familiar faces, uncover the motives of the entities plaguing the city, and gradually unlock Dylan’s potential.

Combat revolves around manipulating the environment, elemental effects, and the Aberrant—a shapeshifting weapon that can transform from a heavy hammer to swift blades, allowing players to adapt to the flow of battle. A deep progression system lets you shape the evolution of Dylan’s abilities, while the ever-shifting reality opens up surreal locations and metaphysical spaces that mirror his inner conflict.
