Indie studio Japan Productions has just announced Resonant Q, a third-person space horror survival game. The developers have already released a trailer and screenshots, along with the first details about the project.
The main action unfolds on the shattered orbital ring, RINGWORLD. Players will embark on dangerous missions along the ring’s circumference, battling anomalous creatures and gathering resources needed to craft gear and restore a safe route to the orbital cities.
Resonant Q features both single-player and cooperative modes, offering several unique characters with different playstyles and abilities. The game also utilizes a special energy system that directly affects your progress.
As you explore a variety of locations—from bioluminescent swamps and industrial megastructures to the ruins of alien civilizations and desolate wastelands—you’ll upgrade your equipment, collect loot, and immerse yourself in a cosmic horror atmosphere. Expect to encounter abstract entities, alien lifeforms, cybernetic monsters, and space pirates.
There’s no official release date yet, but the game already has a Steam page.
