Pre-Orders Open for Fighting Force Collection Collector’s Edition — A ’90s Beat ’Em Up Classic Returns

Limited Run Games and Implicit Conversions are bringing the Fighting Force Collection to modern platforms, with both standard and collector’s editions available. Pre-orders are now live.

Fighting Force Collection brings back two classic PlayStation 1 beat 'em ups: Fighting Force and Fighting Force 2. In the first game, players choose one of four heroes, each with unique abilities, and fight their way through seven levels split into multiple stages. You can play solo or in co-op, unleash dozens of combat moves, and pick up a variety of weapons—ranging from pipes and grenades to firearms.

The sequel sees the return of Hawk Manson, who’s on a covert mission to investigate a corporation involved in cloning experiments. Players will navigate complex research facilities with enhanced graphics and special effects, engage in brutal hand-to-hand combat with combo moves, and wield an arsenal of over twenty weapons to take down enemies and complete sabotage objectives.

The standard physical edition for PS5 and Nintendo Switch is priced at $35, while the collector’s edition costs $80. Pre-orders are available on the Limited Run Games website until January 11, 2026. The exact release date has yet to be announced.
