A brand-new trailer for Code Vein 2 has been released, focusing on the character Holly Asturias—a healer torn between hatred and her duty to save someone she cannot forgive. The game is set to launch on January 30, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (Steam), with pre-orders now open.
In the trailer, Holly is introduced as a member of the Luxuria clan. Her body is afflicted by the same mysterious mutational disease as the protagonist, putting them both “in the same boat.”
The official description calls her a “healer burdened by sin.” She cares for a gravely wounded man named Alisandel and admits she’ll never be able to forgive him—yet refuses to let him die. This highlights her inner conflict and the moral ambiguity that defines the world of Code Vein 2.
The trailer also showcases several combat and story moments featuring Holly, hinting at her significant role in the narrative and her potential to join the player as a companion during raids through post-apocalyptic locations.
The developers remind fans that the sequel will have players journeying through both past and present alongside a girl named Lou, wielding the power of time as a weapon and customizing their character with a flexible system of skills, weapons, and blood abilities.
The previous Code Vein 2 trailer was dedicated to Josée Anjou, an ally of the main character.
