A major update has been released for the Steam version of Fallout Shelter, bringing years of content that was previously exclusive to mobile platforms. Players can now access new quests, characters, weapons, vault themes, and much more.

Fallout Shelter Seasons

The update introduces Fallout Seasons, a series of limited-time events designed to maximize Overseer enjoyment. The first season, Viva New Vegas, is inspired by Season 2 of the Fallout TV series and adds new dwellers, weapons, and armor from the show. Players can build experimental vaults, earn exclusive rewards to boost dweller morale, and unlock new characters, outfits, and weapons.

There is also an option to spin a prize wheel and upgrade the Season Pass to receive premium rewards.

Fallout TV Series Season 1 Content

Players can take on the Power Struggle questline, which consists of eight sequential quests, and add popular characters from the Fallout TV series to their vaults, including Lucy, Maximus, the Ghoul, and others. The update also includes new vault themes, outfits, weapons, and a German Shepherd pet named CX404, all inspired by the first season of the show.

Fallout 25th Anniversary Content

As part of the anniversary update, players can complete the Searching in the Dark questline, featuring six quests, new enemies, and new dwellers, including a Ghoul and the Vault 76 Overseer.

It is also worth noting that the PC version of Fallout Shelter has returned to sale on Steam after a serious exploit in the Unity engine was fixed. Additionally, a trailer for the fan-made expansion Fallout: Miami for Fallout 4 was recently released, which will take players to a post-apocalyptic Miami.
