Analysts Reveal Most Popular Games on Xbox Game Pass in 2025

The folks over at GameDiscover have published their highly anticipated list of the Top 20 most popular games on Xbox Game Pass for 2025. Unsurprisingly, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 from Sandfall Interactive claimed the top spot.
Taking the second position on the list is The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, a revamped version of the iconic 2006 RPG, developed by Virtuos and rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5. Rounding out the top three is the multiplayer football simulator Rematch, crafted by the creators of Sifu.

Hot off the heels of its success, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 also snagged awards for Best Graphics, Best Soundtrack, and Best Independent Game at the PlayStation Blog Game of the Year Awards 2025. Prior to that, the game took home a record-breaking number of accolades at the prestigious The Game Awards 2025.
It's also worth noting that in the first half of December, ten additional projects landed on Game Pass: Routine, Monster Train 2, Spray Paint Simulator, 33 Immortals, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, A Game About Digging A Hole, Dome Keeper, Mortal Kombat 1, Death Howl, and Bratz: Rhythm & Style.
