The full version of the horror shooter Entity: The Black Day has officially launched on Steam, following its stint in Early Access. The game now supports 25 languages and currently boasts a user rating of 87%.
Set in a grim underground biolab complex, players take on the role of Adam, a former special forces operative sent on a covert mission to uncover evidence of a government program linked to an out-of-control virus. What starts as a simple data extraction quickly spirals into a dangerous investigation filled with unsettling discoveries, psychological tension, and doubts about the true purpose of the mission.
Gameplay combines fast-paced gunfights, melee combat, dodging mechanics, brutal finishing moves, unique boss battles, and limited resource management. Players must search for and craft ammunition and healing items, explore the environment, and carefully plan for survival. New weapons unlock as you progress, while the challenge ramps up with varied enemies, traps, and puzzles.
One of the game’s standout features is its protagonist, brought to life through an advanced AI system: Adam actively reacts to events, comments on what’s happening, interacts with the player, and occasionally breaks the fourth wall—with the level of his engagement being adjustable. The game emphasizes atmosphere, an original story, and visual immersion, while also experimenting with unconventional mechanics that blend elements of the virtual and real worlds to solve certain challenges. Entity: The Black Day is positioned as a standalone, original project with a dark tone, intense gameplay, and creative ideas.
Entity: The Black Day is available at a 10% discount until January 22.
Previously, we also reported on the release of the survival horror Carnival Massacre, which pays homage to classic PS1-era games.
