Ubisoft Confirms Development of Tom Clancy’s The Division 3 and Reveals the Survivors Mode for The Division 2
Developers from Massive Entertainment confirmed that Tom Clancy's The Division 3 is currently in development. They also showcased Survivors, a new winter-themed extraction mode coming to the second game in the series.
The Survivors mode for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 is a winter extraction mode set in a snow-covered Washington, D.C. The mode is inspired by the Survival mode from the original Tom Clancy's The Division. The developers also mentioned that a mobile game inspired by the first entry in the series is currently in development.
Tom Clancy's The Division 3 was originally announced in September 2023. The project is being led by Julian Gerighty, who previously served as creative director on Star Wars Outlaws and as creative director of The Division. Details about the third game — including its setting, platforms, and release date — have not yet been revealed. Insiders suggest the release will not happen earlier than 2027.
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 with the Survivors mode is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
